INCREDIBLE DEMAND SEES AN EXTRA MATINEE PERFORMANCE OF LIBEROCCO - AT THE RHUMBELOW!

Good news for Roland Stansell and the Rhumbelow Theatre dahlings! Liberocco starring none other then the gorgeous sultry Rocco de Villiers has seen a huge demand for tickets so the Rhumbelow has added a matinee performance for Sunday 27th January 2008 Picnics and braai at 12.30 shows starts at 14.00 - so make sure you book! For th e uninitiated, the show Liberocco celebrates the late great Liberace by Rocco de Villiers paying tribute to the great pianist and entertainer. Direction is by Toby Cronje no less so this promises to be an evening of real glorious fun.

By now you should all be aware of the constant warning of credit card scams. But it does not stop criminal gespuis from finding suckers! There will be a complete article on this in Captain Pottie’s column in Durbs 22 (out later this month) but the jist is NEVER EVER EVER give out the 3 digit control code to anyone no matter what on the back of you card over the phone or other means even if it appears to be a legitimate request! Many people felt that to date, after  letters to government, local municipalities and others, the impact has been zero. People also felt that no matter where ‘controlled’ displays were carried out, the impact would still be felt on the wildlife.
